A. Titherley & Co Ltd was established in 1927 and we boast over 80 years experience of supplying the maritime industry with a wide range of ropes and chandlery items as well as Flags, Ensigns, Banners and Bunting etc.
In addition to an economy range, we carry large stocks of National and Courtesy Flags made from high quality woven polyester, roped and toggled ready to fly! Our flags are made in one of three ways:
- Sewn - the traditional method of production used in the majority of our national flags.
- Appliquéd - providing a traditional but cost effective method of producing complicated designs in low volumes (ideal for one-off corporate requirements)
- Silk Screen dye printed - ideal for producing a strong corporate imaging on a moderate to high volume basis.

Our services have been used by clients from as far away as Australia, New Zealand and closer to home, Finland and Germany. Our expert service provides over 50 years experience with help to design a banner, flag or ensign on your behalf and to your complete satisfaction.
Our bespoke service does not end with flags and banners! If you have never had flag before and you do not know where to begin then call us. We offer a complete supply and fit service. Our fibre-glass flag staffs are made in Great Britain and are manufactured to the highest standard of design with top quality materials. Lightweight, strong and maintenance free, corrosion and rot proof and complete with high-gloss finish. We also supply white, lightweight aluminium flagpoles in various sizes.
